As of January 2023, there is a new house being constructed on the adjacent property. The project is estimated to last until December 2023; however, we are limited in knowing the exact timing and the possible impact delays may have. Current rates are reflective of this information.

Take advantage of special beach gear and bike credit! This luxury Kiawah Island vacation rental is in a prestigious neighborhood behind the second security gate. The home features 4 bedrooms, a private pool, and direct beach access via a path located behind the driveway.

The large family room is highlighted by soaring ceilings, ample windows and natural light, plenty of comfortable seating, and access to the screened porch. The dining area, that seats 6, and the fully equipped kitchen is adjacent to the family room. The kitchen is perfect for entertaining and offers high-end appliances, granite countertops, a kitchen island that seats 4, and butler’s pantry. The game room has a pool table, wall-mounted TV, comfortable seating, and access to the back deck. Travel through the game room, past the half bath, and see the first-floor master suite that features a king bed, TV, private bathroom with two vanities, walk-in shower, standalone bathtub, and large walk-in closet. A den with a TV is also located on the main floor.

Ascend the stairs to the second floor and you will see two bedroom entrances. One bedroom features a queen bed and private bathroom while the second bedroom features a twin over twin bunk bed, a twin bed, and a private bathroom. Both bedrooms have access to a porch. Go up to the third floor and you will find the upstairs master suite with a king bed, TV, and private bathroom.

The outdoor space is just as lovely as the interior. Enjoy the nature views while lounging on the back deck or relaxing in the screened porch equipped with a ceiling fan. A pool completes the outside features. There really is something for the whole family at this lovely home!

The home is equipped with washer, dryer, and high-speed wireless internet. The home has a pool table for great family fun!

Please note that this property has exterior security cameras that view the home's front entrance and driveway. These cameras serve to protect both the property owner and rental guests.

Guest reservations of 3 to 21 nights come with a valuable credit to use towards beach gear rentals during your stay! The credit amount for this property is $300. You may use your credit for bicycles, beach chairs and umbrellas, beach carts, kayaks, stand-up paddleboards, and more – the choice is yours!

During your stay on Kiawah Island, be sure to enjoy biking on the 30 miles of flat bike trails, golfing on one of five world-class courses, playing tennis, crabbing, fishing, swimming, and boating. Many families also enjoy the kids’ camp and nature programs at Night Heron Park.

Kiawah Island is about 40 minutes from historic Charleston, famous for incredible shopping, galleries, antique stores, museums, the South Carolina Aquarium, horse-drawn carriage rides, historic landmarks, and sumptuous dining.

This pool has a gas heater, so the pool may be heated in cooler months for $100/per day for the entire stay. It can take 24-48 hours for the pool water to reach the optimal temperature of 85-87 degrees. When the air temperature falls below 55 degrees, typically November-March, pool heaters have difficulty achieving the optimal temperature. In this case, pool heating will not be available.

RESERVATION PROCESS: Your reservation is not confirmed until you return the Akers Ellis Rental Agreement. This document will be sent to you via email within a few hours of making your reservation. You need to review and electronically fill out, sign, and submit the agreement within 24 hours. Once returned, Akers Ellis will collect payment and send you a reservation confirmation via email.

This house was very true to the photos in the listing. The home was updated, well equipped, lots of living space and had everything we wanted, including close to the beach. We had to call about a few small maintenance items, but the listing group contacted us the same day and fixed the issue in 24 hours or less. Would recommend this for anyone but very family friendly

We had four generations stay at this home, form 10 years old to 91 and it fit us all perfectly! The best feature is the location, you are a very short private boardwalk wAll to the beach and nestled into this secluded tropical oasis while at the home. I wish I had this kitchen at my home, great for big family meals!

My family really enjoyed our time at 14 Royal Beach. Between the beautiful walk down the path/boardwalk to the beach (where we went daily), to the heated pool, we were all able to relax and enjoy our time together. I really loved the layout of the home. The bedrooms were all private and quiet and the family room and kitchen were nice and open for hanging out and socializing. The house has such a great homey vibe and had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable and low maintenance. We will definitely be renting it again next year.

Great house

Great house with a great layout. Kitchen with lots of storage and counter space. Having 2 dishwashers came in so handy, and the large refrigerator and freezer were a bonus. The pool area surrounded by lush greenery, the deck was large, wonderfully shaded in the late afternoon and the pool was a really good size.

Wonderful vacation

We greatly enjoyed our stay at this house. The heated pool was great for some of the slightly cool May days. We loved that it was separated from the house and deck by a gate which made us feel more safe with our younger children. The kitchen was well stocked with all the utensils and pots and pans that we needed. Despite being close to other houses, it felt like we were very secluded. The short walk to the beach was convenient for older family members. We would definitely stay here again.

Great location and amazing pool

We have been staying at Kiawah for years now and this has been our favorite rental. The location was great with an easy and beautiful path to the beach. The pool was amazing and loved the heat during our March stay, it got pretty cool and still we were able to swim each day. The street and area on the island was beautiful. The first floor master suite was amazing. Loved the pool table and cooked in the kitchen the whole week and weren’t missing anything. Maybe my only wish for were more screens in more windows, but that’s really stretching. It was a lovely stay and super easy booking and excellent communication again from Akers Ellis.

Great spring break!

This rental home was great. House is updated, kitchen fully stocked, bathrooms and bedrooms were comfortable and nice. It was a bit cool, so we didn’t use the pool as much as we’d have liked, but it was a nice feature to the home. Beach access is conveniently located out the back door and a short 3-4min walk. We’d definitely stay again. Rental agency was great too, answered all my questions with prompt responses. Looking forward to returning sometime in the future.

The layout and location of the house is excellent for beach lovers. It is the second year that we have rented this house. This year we were hoping for updated furniture in tv room and screened porch. Very uncomfortable and very "used".

Our family of 6 has been coming to Kiawah for years. We have stayed at many homes on the island. We loved this house! The layout was wonderful for our family. Our kids loves the pool! The access to the beach was a quick walk from the back of the house. We have three daughters and the bunk room with a day bed was a perfect room for them. I would highly recommend staying here.

Perfect for my Family

14 Royal Beach Drive is even better than the description provided. The layout of the house is accurate and worked well for us and our children and grandchildren (9 in all). It was even more spacious than we expected. Easy beach access was important to us and this home was a 3 minute walk from backdoor to feet in the sand! The amenities made our stay even more pleasant. We were pampered in the kitchen with 2 quiet Bosch dishwashers, 2 sinks, a 6 burner gas stove, a large Sub Zero refrigerator and separate freezer, a wine fridge, and a beverage fridge with ice maker. The Samsung washer/dryer were large capacity and had seemingly short run time. Access to the elevator in the garage made moving in/out and unloading groceries very convenient. The property was very clean. It was well equipped with towels. The soap, lotion, shampoo/conditioner made it seem more like a resort than renting a private home. The heated pool was absolutely wonderful! Akers Ellis Rentals made the rental process extremely easy. Receiving an equipment rental credit of $300 was an added bonus. We rented bikes, a cart, beach chairs and boogie boards that added to our enjoyment during our stay. The bike paths are wonderful and the grandchildren enjoyed the playgrounds at Night Heron and Ocean Tree House parks. The sheer beauty of the Island and abundant wildlife added to our perfect stay and the wonderful memories that we made.

Excellent Kiawah Escape

We had a great week at this home in Kiawah, though there are a few things that need to be addressed by the rental company. The home barely seems rented... no dings to walls or worn furniture, rather it felt like staying st a friend’s home. The hot water heater in the master bedroom (also connected to bunk bedroom) ran out of water frequently and needed to be checked/reset 2 hours before a shower — a huge inconvenience and kept me from using the soaker tub (one of the primary reasons we rented this home!). It was a relatively annoying inconvenience for the cost of the home. The pool area was nice but not ideal for little kids because you couldn’t see them from the deck area and only partly from the screen porch. We loved being so close to the beach and we aways love a week of bike riding on Kiawah!
