Description

Take advantage of special beach gear and bike credit! This Kiawah Island vacation rental features 4 bedrooms, a courtyard pool, and a guest house. The home is about a 10-minute walk to the beach.

The professionally decorated main house includes the living and dining rooms, kitchen, two bedrooms with private bathrooms, powder room, laundry area, and sunroom. The living room features a sofa, love seat, two chairs, and flat screen TV. The sunroom, accessed through the living room, offers cozy seating and a shuffleboard table. The dining room connects the living room and kitchen. The kitchen features updated appliances, granite counter tops, plenty of cabinet space, bar stool seating for three, an extra sitting area with two chairs, and a flat screen TV. The powder room and laundry room are just off the kitchen.

The main house has two master suites. The first master suite features a king bed, bathroom with double sinks, large soaking tub, and separate large shower. The second master in the main house offers a king bed, cozy chair, and bathroom with double sinks, large tub, and separate shower. The guest house includes two bedrooms, one with two full beds and one with two twin over full bunk beds, which open to the pool area. The bedrooms are connected by a hall and share a bathroom with shower.

The courtyard area features a gas grill, private pool, covered dining area for six, sofa, and lounge chairs. The pool is approximately 26ft x 13ft. In the garage, you will find a basketball arcade game which provides hours of fun for the whole family!

All of the TVs in the house utilize streaming television through the Xfinity App but only 5 of the 7 TVs in the house can view Xfinity channels simultaneously. The TVs also offer the option to login to your own apps like Netflix, Disney+, Hulu, etc.

This home is equipped with washer, dryer, and high-speed wireless internet.

Please note that pets are not permitted at the home.

During your stay on Kiawah Island, be sure to enjoy biking on the 30 miles of flat bike trails, golf on one of five world class golf courses, playing tennis, crabbing, fishing, swimming, boating, kids’ camp and nature programs at Night Heron Park.

Guest reservations of 3 to 21 nights come with a valuable credit to use towards beach gear rentals during your stay! The credit amount for this property is $300. You may use your credit for bicycles, beach chairs and umbrellas, beach carts, kayaks, stand-up paddleboards, and more – the choice is yours!

This pool has a gas heater, so the pool may be heated in cooler months for $100/per day for the entire stay. It can take 24-48 hours for the pool water to reach the optimal temperature of 85-87 degrees. When the air temperature falls below 55 degrees, typically November-March, pool heaters have difficulty achieving the optimal temperature. In this case, pool heating will not be available.

RESERVATION PROCESS: Your reservation is not confirmed until you return the Akers Ellis Rental Agreement. This document will be sent to you via email within a few hours of making your reservation. You need to review and electronically fill out, sign, and submit the agreement within 24 hours. Once returned, Akers Ellis will collect payment and send you a reservation confirmation via email.

Great home for our stay at Kiawah! Wonderful layout with separate area for your children if needed, but would still work well for adults. Nice pool and courtyard area and one of the most comfortable living and sunroom areas we have ever experienced. Well stocked kitchen. 2 masters and spacious bathrooms. Attractive home but also a comfy beach feel. We have stayed in many properties over the years traveling to Kiawah but this one is our all time favorite.

Amazing house - better than the pictures!!!

Loved this house! Bigger with higher ceilings than the photos depict. Loved that the "guest house" had a full bathroom and a powder room attached to the room with two double beds. Kitchen was very well stocked with grill basket, hand mixer, toaster oven and everything else you could possibly need. Loved that previous guests left aluminum foil, ziploc bags, saran rap, DW detergent, garbage bags, tons of oils and spices and we tried to pay it forward by leaving other helpful stuff. What a nice change from the resort villas where not even salt and pepper can be left for the next guests! Pool was great, beds super comfortable and so close to bike paths.

Great Home

We loved this home from the pool to the sunroom and all the wonderful furnishings, The home was comfy and decorated beautifully. We especially enjoyed having two different areas with 2 masters on one side of the home and the guest home on the other side with the courtyard /pool area in the middle. My favorite room was the sunroom which so relaxing and could easily access the pool area from this room. We have stayed in many properties on Kiawah Island but this home has been our favorite!
It was such a nice escape from a COVID weary world.
As always Akers Ellis was great to deal with from the reservation process to checkout.

Review of 157 Bluebill Court, Kiawah Island, SC

We had a wonderful time in Kiawah Island (June 2020). The island is beautiful and not crowded. The house we stayed in was awesome and perfect for our needs. We enjoyed the pool immensely. Everything was very clean and in great shape. The description of the house on the Akers Ellis website was very accurate. Akers Ellis was so easy to work with during the entire rental process and while we were in the house. We had one issue with the refrigerator and they were very responsive in helping us out and provided great customer service. Was perfect with one side of the house bedrooms for the kids and the other side for the adults, with all common areas (kitchen, family room, etc in the middle. Courtyard and pool area was a great area. Location to the beach was an easy 5-minute bike ride on paths. Beach was the nicest beach we have ever been at with the sand so soft and free of any debris.

We enjoyed the golfing as well. Golfed at Turtle Point and walked around the Ocean Course. So incredible and beautiful. Biking on the island was fun and easy with lots of paths. Restaurants and shopping were nice at the main business center location. Enjoyed a few day trips to Charleston. Such a neat city and harbor area. Was fun doing harbor tour, city tour, restaurants and shops downtown, historical buildings, and touring the Yorktown and Ft Sumpter.

We would definitely recommend this property and Akers Ellis as the property manager to our friends and family. Great experience!

Family Vacation!

Great house for multiple family members. We added a blowup mattress in the main house for 2 small children. Comfortably fit 10 people between the main house and other 2 bedrooms in guest area. Pool was great behind the house. All in all a great rental.

Lovely spacious home for large family getaway

This is our second stay at this lovely home. It’s very well equipped in kitchen and plenty of linens. Terrific dinning spaces and lovely little pool. Be warned, it’s a bit pricey to have it heated. The ocean was actually warmer during our April stay. Hoping they update the beach chairs too but overall, I would rent this property again. Kiawah is a lovely spot and we truly enjoyed, an active vacation. We biked( loved the vayk gear credit) and swam, golfed and walked the beach. A great home.

Great Family Week

We had our yearly family vacation at this location -- perfect! The layout worked out great for us, as we have three babies four and under. The pool was the highlight (totally worth getting it heated). The location was private, but easily accessible to everything. The beach access was not important to us, but it was easy to get to with a bike. The house itself was just lovely. Kitchen was well equipped. Everything was spotless. Beds were comfy. We would definitely stay here again.

Kiawah Island Spring Vacation

Perfect getaway for kids and parents

This beautiful home was absolutely perfect for the multiple families. That got to enjoy it. The wide open wrap around the pool concept made it easy to see everything that was going on during the day and help us keep all eyes on the kids. With the space we were also able to spread out and. Privacy and paradise past the second gate with a pool

Upon arrival to this rental we were all in love. This house was the nicest one we have stayed at on Kiawah and this is our 3rd year. The pool was an awesome addition and the outdoor space and patio room let us be able to enjoy our stay even if it was raining. The separate guest area with 4 beds made our teenagers stay perfect as well. High end home in upscale area was perfect. It's past the 2nd gate. It was a 4 minute bike ride but someone can drop you off at boardwalk 32 in a car if you choose. We love renting bikes anytime we are in Kiawah. You won't be disappointed with this rental!!!

Beautiful home in a great setting

Perfect home on Kiawah

This home is lovely and in a great area, convenient to a bike path to the beach. The home is updated, well-appointed and furniture is clean and comfortable - the home is well maintained. We had a minor plumbing issue with one of the master bathrooms, but the team at Akers Ellis addressed it quickly. We visited with family (8 people) over a week and found the space to be roomy and comfortable. We visited Freshfields Village a few times, but primarily cooked our meals at the house. We most enjoyed riding bikes around the island. I would definitely rent this home again.

Ladies' Cycling Weekend

We rented this home for a ladies' cycling weekend. It exceeded our expectations! We had five ladies in our group and plenty of space. The screened-in porch was nice for breakfast and our heated pool felt great after cycling all over the beautiful island. The bike paths are fabulous and run parallel to all the main roads. We cycled up to each end of the island, along the beach, up to Fresh Fields Village, and Bohicket Marina. We ate dinner at the Ryder Cup Bar on the beautiful ocean-front patio. Had lunch at the Bohicket Marina and Lokal Seafood. Both were fabulous!We also enjoyed dinner at Red's Ice House. Our home was beautiful, well appointed, and very spacious and comfortable.

October stay at Bluebill Court

Overall I would describe our stay as very enjoyable. The house was perfect for our family which included 3 granddaughters ages 12-17. My recommendations would be that the house needs a thorough cleaning to include windows and porch. Also, mattresses in main house should be replaced in the near future. Consideration should also be given to repainting the interior of both houses. We are former residents of Kiawah Island and it is as beautiful as ever!

Great place

Great quality house and rental company

My family had a great time at 157 Bluebill Court. The house was in great condition upon arrival and we had no issues during our stay. We have rented through Akers Ellis a few times in the past, and have always been more than pleased with the quality of the properties. We also have always had prompt responses to any questions/issues that have arisen during our stays. We have another rental booked for early November and are already excited for our return to Kiawah.

Beautiful home away from home

The home was beautiful and I was so pleased. I just pray that others treat it like home and keep it in great shape. Your kitchen accessories were first class from the cutlery, pots and pans, etc. I hope others appreciate the detail that was used in choosing these items. I am looking forward to staying there again real soon. Thank you for preparing such a nice home away from home.
